Tirupati Kalyana Vedika Marriage Procedure
- The Bride should be 18 years and above.
- The Groom should be 21 years and above.
- Both Bride’s family and Groom’s family should be Hindus
- Only Hindu arranged marriages are allowed at Kalyana Vedika.
- The Devasthanam will allot purohit.
- The marriage Muhurtham slot must be booked online in the Devasthanam Portal.
- Offline Bookings are not allowed at Purohit Sangam.
- A minimum of 7 days of advance booking is mandatory for the Kalyana Vedika Marriage slot.
- Love marriages without parents’ acceptance are not allowed at Kalyana Vedika Tirumala.
- Second Marriages are not allowed at Kalyana Vedika.
- Parents from both sides must be available for the marriage.
- Marriage can be performed in groups depending on the Muhurtham and demand on a particular day.
- Pilgrims should come with the required documents and certificates along with originals for verification and report to Kalyana Vedika Tirumala at least 6 hours before the marriage.
- After verification of documents, a service confirmation receipt will be issued.
- All online bookings are final, there is no provision for postponement/ preponement/ cancellation.
- No service facility for rejected cases by the authorities due to the verification process and document unavailability.
Required Documents for Kalyana Vedika
- Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards or Residential certificates must be produced.
- Age-related documents such as PAN/ Driving License/ Passport/ Birth Certificate/ School certificate must be produced.
- In the case of parent’s absence, their death certificates along with Guardian’s Aadhar Cards photocopies must be produced.
- Unmarried certificates issued by the MRO/ Thasildhar must be produced.
- All these documents will be verified one day prior to the marriage.
Devasthanam Arrangements for Kalyana Vedika
- One Rs.50 room will be provided free of cost for 24 hours. A day Room extension is allowed on payment for the second day.
- Another room will be provided on payment and room allotment is subject to availability.
- Devasthanam will be provided with Pasupu (Turmeric), Kumkum (vermilion) and Prasadam to the couples.
- A receipt will be issued after the marriage with which the couple along with 4 other persons (Guardians or family members) can have Darshan.
- The newlywed couples are allowed to have Darshan through the Rs.300 (Special Entry Darshan) line free of cost.
- The same receipt can be used for the marriage registration at Tirumala or at any other marriage registration office.

Marriage Process at Kalyana Vedika Tirupati
- Kindly note that Mantap decoration is not allowed
- Chairs for seating are not allowed
- All Pilgrims are requested to sit on the floor.
- Usually, Kalyana Vedika is good for a 15- to 20-member group.
- The Pilgrims must carry all pooja items themselves.
- Catering is not allowed on the premises.
- Purohit will only perform Marriage, which might take 45 to 60 minutes.
