This is the reason the heavenly wedding festival that celebrates the union of God and Goddess is held on the Uthiram Star Day in the month of Panguni and is also called Panguni Uthiram.

Pooja Items Required for the Archana:
Five garlands, three ghee lamps tied with jasmine flowers, untied flowers three coconuts, one dozen bananas 10 beta leaves, and arecanut. The most important thing is that the devotees must bring their horoscopes.
Pooja Procedure:
The pooja objects and the horoscope are given at the hands of the priest. He then performs the archana offering garlands, one to Mangalyeswarar, the other towards Mangalambikai, and the third to Mangalya Maharishi.
When the wedding has been set, the first person invited is Mangalya Maharishi. The invitation card must be taken to the temple and then placed on his feet, requesting that he bless the couple on their wedding day.
