Temple Marriage After Divorce, Application Form and Registration procedure

Group or Samuhika marriages are allowed for the Divorced marriages. It has to be performed separately by booking a marriage hall. Hall capacity varies from 50 to 200 members.

Temple Marriage After Divorce

1. A simple Hindu marriage can be performed at Temples in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Kerala and Karnataka
2. Required documents are, Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards Photocopies, 10th mark sheet photocopies and Court Divorce document photocopy
3. Bride parents and Groom parents Aadhar Cards photocopies
4. Some temples allow second and properly Divorced marriages.
5. Please note that Birde and Groom’s family must be Hindus.
6. A receipt will be issued after the marriage with which the newlywed couple can get the registration certificate.
7. Marriage is not allowed when the case is under court review.
8. Clear documentation required for the marraige.

Application Form is not required for the marriage hall booking near the temple. Please note that Inter-religion and Love’s marriages are not allowed at the temples. 3 to 5 months advance booking is required for the marriage enrollment.

Marriage happens outside the temple followed by the main deity Darshan. Marriage is not allowed inside the temple. The devotees can have Darshan after marriage.

Marriage Registration Procedure

The marriage registration procedure varies from state to state. A receipt will be issued by the temple staff which can be used for the registration.

Documents required for the marriage Registration

1. Bride and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
2. Bride and Groom’s 10th mark sheet or Date of birth certificate Photocopies
3. Bride parents and Groom’s Aadhar Cards photocopies
4. Wedding invitation card
5. Marriage Photos
6. Three witnesses along with their Aadhar Cards photocopies
7. A divorce document photocopy must be attached.
